How is ShoreFi different?

ShoreFi's has adapted the latest in fixed wireless technology to a marine setting, allowing boaters to have service comparable to home or business options.

ShoreFi was founded by a technologist frustrated by current boating internet options while a "live aboard" on his boat. 

How does my access kit get installed?

ShoreFi will ship to you a self-install Access Kit with easy-to-follow instructions that most boaters are comfortable installing themselves. Professional installation may be available for an additional fee.


ShoreFi's Broadband Access Kit creates an onboard WiFi network with your own private SSID (WiFi network name) and password, offering security that typical public networks can never offer.

Does ShoreFi sell my personal data to third-party marketers?

Unlike major internet service providers as well as many "ad-driven" marina options, ShoreFi guards your privacy and never sells your data to third-party marketers.

Can I start and stop my service?

ShoreFi offers reduced service options (such as security camera live streaming only) as well as easy reactivation plans designed for boaters who only need full internet service seasonally or occasionally. 

What if I want to cancel my service?

ShoreFi has no long-term obligations. You may cancel at any time and your service will end before the next paid cycle begins. To receive your fully refundable equipment deposit, you must return your ShoreFi Access Kit in working condition and with normal wear and tear.
